Bouchra Baibanou is a Moroccan mountaineer who has shattered barriers and inspired millions with her extraordinary achievements at the world's highest peaks.
On May 21, 2017, she reached the summit of Mount Everest (8,849m), becoming the first Moroccan woman and the first North African woman to achieve this feat. In December 2018, she completed the Seven Summits — the highest peak on each continent.
On July 28, 2022, Baibanou made history again by summiting K2 (8,611m), becoming the first Arab woman ever to reach the summit of the world's most dangerous mountain.
